I would not believe this fix if I didn't see it with my own two eyes. Just added a few comments to a CSS file and voila! Dreamweaver opens again. This is a crazy bug. OMG - I had two files of 8, bytes.

Every time I have to fix my friend's website which is generated by dreamweaver I'm disgusted by the amount of unnecessary stuff that dreamweaver adds. It's horrible that Dreamweaver crashes because of files simply being larger than 8K, especially since it adds unnecessary stuff I just encountered this bug. How bizarre. Azhar Kamar 1. Thanks for this! You know how shitty it feels when a program misbehaves like this and you don't know the cause. Dreamweaver has corrupted a file in your current site and when it tries to open that site, it flat-out dies. Whatever Dreameaver does to the CSS file to corrupt it is insidious and invisible.

Pro tip: You probably had it open when the trouble started. Get that CSS file out of there cut-n-paste to your desktop and make sure everything else works fine.
