Error setupdd sys address

According to your machine spec you have a floppy drive, otherwise it would not be possible to install the drivers. Question is, where to find them - really need to know the motherboard details. You mention that no recovery disks were supplied - they were not needed as, according to your spec the computer was supplied with recovery software - Vaio Recovery Wizard.

Before you partitioned the drive there would have been a hidden recovery partition - may still be there - containing a mirror of the drive as supplied. PeteC ,. Arie ,. As far as the hidden partition for recovery it should be gone, and my attempts to find it proved fruitless, like I said I did a full format of my HD's.

I'm starting to regret that more and more, my reasons for wanting to buy the recovery kit is atleast I'll be able to use my system again since my search for drivers has been a wild goose chase so far. They should be anyway, all four are less than two months old. I also tryed your sugestion of using 2x and that didnt work as well. I'm convinced this is a driver problem. I'm not sure where I should look for the drivers though. I have looked on Western Digital's site and Intel's site for the drivers but I've had no luck.

As far as finding out the exact model number on my motherboard I'm not sure where that would be located. Not yet I havent, I was hoping I wouldnt have to rip the whole thing out, its a small case so everything is packed in very tight and I'd hate to damage anything by accident.
